CURRENT WAIT FOR NEW PATIENTS:
If you are interested in consulting Dr. Komrad for the first time, the current wait to become a new patient is 4-6 weeks
DR. KOMRAD and MEDICARE:

Dr. Komrad has "opted-out" of the Medicare program as of 9/1/07. This means that patients who have Medicare will NOT be able to have Medicare reimburse them for Dr. Komrad's services. It also means that Dr. Komrad will not be billing Medicare,or sending them any information about services or treatment. Medicare patients are required to sign a letter of understanding regarding this when starting treatment or, if they are already established patients, at the time they become Medicare eligible.
BALTIMORE MAGAZINE NAMES DR. KOMRAD ONE OF MARYLAND'S "BEST PSYCHIATRISTS"

Baltimore magazine requested mental health professionals from throughout Maryland to name their most respected colleagues. Dr. Komrad was voted by his peers in this survey as one of a handful of "Maryland's Best Mental Health Professionals." He is prominently profiled in the November 2001 issue of BALTIMORE MAGAZINE (p. 86) in an article entitled: "Analyze This: The Best Mental Health Care Practitioners."

In November 2002 Dr. Komrad was honored as one of "America's Top Psychiatrists", by The Consumers' Research Council of America (CRCA)-- "an independent research company based in Washington DC that evaluates professional services throughout America."
